The PFX Co-Ed Fastpitch League was founded in 2014 to create an opportunity for women to stay in the game post-college. It also turns out that it benefitted the guys who love the game, too, as Florida does not have a strong men’s fastpitch presence. By bringing these two groups together, we are able to support the adult game and, from time to time, create opportunities for the best of the best in the women’s class to be challenged by some of the top men’s fastpitch players in the Country.

The Co-Ed Fastpitch League plays in November and December. Athletes must be 18+ to play.

TEAM PFX is a group of athletes who commit to not only bettering themselves as a softball player, but as a person. They attend weekly softball workouts, participate in mentoring with younger PFX athletes, commit to maintaining a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate being a good teammate.

Each year before the start of High School season, we host a series of scrimmage games where we welcome any player, freshman through senior, to come get live reps before high school tryouts. 

There are no coaches. The players are responsible for coaching the bases, and creating the lineups. This teaches them leadership, how to communicate, and gives them the opportunity to truly play the game for fun with their friends. 

The program was founded in 2021 and discontinued after the 2023 season when funding for the program was discontinued. We would love to see community partners willing to help fund this program in the future!

The Adopt-a-Team program began in 2015 when PFX Athletics partnered with Lake County schools to connect local kids with traveling college softball programs.

The program was discontinued in 2020 after the COVID Pandemic but with the right partners, we would love to see it take flight again!
